Tasteful Touches

Hello and welcome! Today I want to introduce you to the fabulous Tasteful Touches bundle from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. Just two more sleeps until this beautiful catalogue goes Live!!

This bundle is so versatile! Today I created three cards all with a completely different look and feel. This first card features my favourite stamp in this set ,,, the beautiful feather!

I stamped the feathers in five different colours; Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay.

Using a strip of vellum cardstock I stamped the sentiment with Jet Black Staz On ink. Then I layered it on top of the feathers and love how the beautiful stamped images still show through. For a finishing touch I added the pretty wooden sprigs which come with the In Good Taste Elements and a couple of rhinestones for bling!

Touches of Misty Moonlight

My second card has more of an elegant, monochromatic theme to it.

I am really enjoying the addition of the five new 2020-2022 In-Colours to my crafting colour palette. This card features one of these new In-Colours , Misty Moonlight. I love this new blue!!

Using the Stitched Lace dies I cut out that pretty lacy background and layered it over Misty Moonlight cardstock.

I stamped the pretty floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and added colour using a sponge dauber and some Misty Moonlight ink. With my Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write marker I coloured the yellow centers of the flowers in .

I love how Stampin’ UP! provides us with so many coordinating elements to choose from. Just look at how perfectly the cardstock, ink, ribbon and enamel dots match making coordination so simple… Love it!!

In Good Taste Product Suite

Here is the third card that I created today using the In Good Taste product suite. This suite consists of the Tasteful Touches bundle, In Good Taste DSP, Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and the In Good Taste Elements.

Wow, I had so much fun layering these stamp images in a collage kind of format. The versatility of these images is endless. They would make amazing backgrounds for all sorts of cards and scrapbook layouts. My colour scheme for this card is Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Early Espresso. The textured looking DSP that the images are stamped on is part of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper . This paper pack is one you will see me using time and time again.

I hope that you enjoyed this sneak peek at the In Good Taste product suite. Thank you for popping by today!

Best Catch

Hello and welcome! I can’t believe that we are already into the last week of May. The new catalogue will be here before we know it … 8 more sleeps!! Don’t forget that there are many retiring items still available until June 2nd (or while supplies last). One of these items is the Best Catch stamp set and its matching framelits.

The stamp set is on sale for just $16.20 (regular $27) and it is perfect for Father’s Day.

The Best Catch stamp set would also be great for birthday cards, anniversaries and of course wouldn’t it be fun on a scrapbook layout!!

For this card I simply stamped the fish, basket and hat onto cardstock and cut them out with the matching framelits. No colouring needed!! I cut the bullrush from Early Espresso cardstock to layer behind the fishing basket. Using the Stitched Shapes dies I cut a square from the middle of the wood grain paper. The whole card came together so quickly, I just added the linen thread around the bottom and a couple of metallic pearls for a bit of bling! Layered it all together with some bump-its (AKA dimensionals) and presto quick and easy card!!

Product List

Let’s Step-It Up!

For this card I stepped it up just a little bit!! I used a standard card base in Mint Macaron followed by a layer of Crumb Cake then a crumpled layer of Gray Granite. To get the look on this layer I literally crumpled the cardstock into a ball in my hands. I opened it up and used a sponge dauber and Early Espresso ink to distress the heck out of it!! Voila!! I adhered that little masterpiece using ‘bump-its’ so as not to lose the effect.

I stamped the fish and used my Blender Pens to add some colour then cut them out with the coordinating framelit. The greeting is stamped on Terracotta Tile cardstock and punched out with the Classic Label punch. This is layered onto the Tailored Tag punch-out in Crumb Cake with distressed edges. And I added in some bullrushes cut from Early Espresso and Crumb Cake layered together and some torn scrap pieces in both Terracotta Tile and Mint Macaron. Notice that little stiched square in the wood grain… that’s what was cut out from the first card. For extra dimension I took a piece of retired burlap ribbon and frayed it apart and added metallic pearls for the needed “bling”. This will be a great Father’s Day to hand out this year!!

Beautiful Jar of Flowers

Hello and welcome! Today I want to share the beautiful Jar Of Flowers bundle with you. This lovely stamp and punch bundle will be available to purchase starting June 3rd when the brand new Stampin’ UP! Annual Catalogue goes live.

I absolutely adore this bundle!

Fresh-picked flowers in canning jar vases are one of the simple joys of summer. This fun Jar of Flowers bundle brings you a version that stays fresh forever!

The pretty floral images in this stamp set are so much fun to colour and isn’t that mason jar super adorable? Can you spot the brand new in-colours too?

As I’m sure I’ve mentioned before, Sunflowers are one of my favourite flowers so of course I started with them!! This card starts with a Just Jade card base, a layer of Gray Granite cardstock and Whisper White for stamping. That beautiful Just Jade gingham ribbon is from the Flowers For Every Season ribbon combo pack which will also be available June 3rd.

The ‘Just Because’ sentiment is from another great new product that you can look forward to seeing in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. This stamps set is called Lovely You and features many great sentiments in a fun, fresh font.

Mason Jar Shaker Cards

These next 2 cards both feature the Mason Jar Shaker Domes which perfectly coordinate with the Jar punch. Shaker cards are so much fun to make and these little shaker domes make them easy too!!

Love them!!!

The card on the right showcases three of the new In-Colours … Magenta Madness card base, Just Jade cardstock behind a layer of Misty Moonlight Designer Series Paper. I have used a few Flowers for Every Season gems inside the shaker dome and enamel dots atop the sentiment flag.

Shaker card on the left starts with a Misty Moonlight card base, a layer of BumbleBee cardstock and 1/4″ Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon. Inside this shaker dome I enclosed a pinch of multi coloured sequins. The words stamped in the background are from the current Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set … a must have that covers any and all occasions.

If you have fallen in love with these fabulous new 2020-2022 In-Colours and would like to add them all to your crafting collection please check out the new In-Colour Club here. Last day to register to be part of the club is Monday June 1st.
