Welcome to Make It Monday it’s time for this week’s creative challenge post. I have used this week’s sketch challenge to create a fall themed card using the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle. This bundle and the entire product suite has been extremely popular already! It’s one of my top choices from the September – December Mini Catalogue and can be found HERE in my online store.
When I sat down to create today’s Autumn Leaves card I turned to the Stampin’ Up! Colour Coach for assistance in choosing the colours. I wanted to try something new but still stay with the Autumn theme. I flipped to Mossy Meadow and settled on the third suggested combination of Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink and Copper Clay. I love it!
During today’s video I introduced the week’s creative challenge and followed along with the sketch to create this Autumn Leaves friendship card. I’d love to have you play along too! Here are the cardstock and Designer Series Paper measurements you’ll want to recreate this card.
- Petal Pink card base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
- Petal Pink cardstock: scrap for small oak leaf
- Copper Clay cardstock: scrap for small oak leaf
- One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper: 3 x 5-1/2
- Mossy Meadow cardstock: 1/2 x 5-1/2
- Very Vanilla cardstock: 4 x 5-1/4, die cut Scalloped Contour label, scrap for stamping leaf
