Welcome to Make It Monday it’s time for this week’s creative challenge post. I have used this week’s colour challenge of Pecan Pie, Sweet Sorbet and Petal Pink to create a cute card with Stampin’ Up! The card I am sharing with you today is one that I designed for my Pecan Pie colour club this month. When I saw the adorable animals in the Fluffiest Friends bundle I knew that I needed to have it and I immediately thought about using the Tree Rings embossing folder as a fun background.
During today’s video I introduced the week’s creative challenge and followed along with the colour combination to create this Fluffiest Friends Valentine card. I’d love to have you play along too! Here are the cardstock and Designer Series Paper measurements you’ll want to recreate this card.
- Pecan Pie cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
- Pecan Pie cardstock 4 x 5-1/4 and small scrap
- Basic White cardstock 4 x 5-1/4, 2-3/4 x 4-1/4 and small scrap for stamping beaver
- Sweet Sorbet cardstock small scrap for heart
- Bee Mine Designer Series Paper 1 x 4-1/2
