Christmas Card with Dear Santa and Perfect Pairs Stamp Sets

Today I am sharing an adorable Christmas card that I created last night for my Feathered Friends membership. The card combines both the Stampin’ Up! Dear Santa and Perfect Pairs stamp sets and traditional Christmas colours.

When I first saw the milk and cookies mages in the Perfect Pairs stamp set it made me think of leaving out milk and cookies for Santa. So it seemed suitable to mix these images with the Dear Santa stamp set from the Sept – Dec Mini Catalogue to create a fun and adorable Christmas card.

Let’s talk colour!

I kept the colour combination on this card pretty traditional red and green by using Poppy Parade with Garden Green. These colours are both in the piece of Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper that I chose for the background of the card. I added in Copper Clay for the little girl’s hair and Pecan Pie and dark brown for the cookies.

I used a few additional products to design the Dear Santa and Perfect Pairs Christmas card. The tag is cut using the Greetings of the Season Dies, I added some texture with a pretty bow tied from the white ribbon included in the Diagonal Trim Combo Pack, and topped it all off with a few Garden Green Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots.

I like to also stamp and decorate the inside panel for my handmade cards. For this card I chose another of the adorable little girls and a sentiment from the Dear Santa stamp set, stamped them on Basic White and coloured the image with my Stampin’ Blends. I love how this completes the card and ties the inside in with the card front. I hope that you like today’s card!
