Colourful Congratulations with Day To Celebrate • Birdsnest Designs

I’m so excited to be teaming up with my friend Michelle Litwiller of Owl Star Stampers for a whole week of creative fun featuring amazing Sale-A-Bration products! It’s Day 3 and today I am sharing a fun and colourful card using the Day To Celebrate stamp set.

The Day To Celebrate stamp set is available for free with a $75 order here in Canada during Sale-A-Bration. Sale-A-Bration is Stampin’ Up!’s biggest promotion of the year and runs from January 7th through February 28th.

Today’s Day to Celebrate card showcases a fun and unique twist on repetitive stamping with a vibrant color palette. For the focal point, I stamped CONGRATS five times, stacking the sentiment in bold layers of color. Starting with Petal Pink at the top, the design flows through Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Summer Splash, and finishes with the striking Petunia Pop. This simple stamping technique delivers an eye-catching and dynamic result—perfect for any celebration!

To add to the design of the card I stamped HOORAY repeatedly over the Petal Pink card front with Petal Pink ink to create a little colour on colour fun. It’s a simple technique that adds a lot to a simple project. If you don’t have the same colour ink you can use a Versamark ink pad to get a very similar result.

I also stamped a prize ribbon from the Day To Celebrate stamp set in Calypso Coral and fussy cut it to add beside the stamped sentiments. It turned out really cute … I hope you like it too 🩷.
