Holy Cow! This Card Sketch Looks Beautiful with Florals Too

I am SO happy to be back live with you all! Coming back into this wonderful community after my break truly felt like coming home. Today I’m sharing one of my all-time favourite sketches because once you know the layout, you can swap in almost any stamp set and make it completely your own.

Card Sketch Measurements

Here’s the cheat sheet for your craft table. Grab your cardstock and let’s create!

  • Card Base: 8½” × 5½”, scored at 4¼”
  • Patterned Paper Panel: 4″ × 5¼”
  • Colour Panel: 3″ × 4¼”
  • White Panel (inside): 3¾” × 5″
  • White Panel (image layer): 2¾” × 4″
  • Gingham Gallery Strip (front): 1″ × 2¾”
  • Gingham Gallery Strip (inside): 1″ × 3¾”

One Sketch, Two Ways

🐄 Highland Cow | Wild Bunch

  • Stamped with the Wild Bunch set and coloured with Crumb Cake, Golden Glow and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends
  • Finished with ribbon, a strip of Gingham Gallery DSP and, of course, bump-its!
  • Favourite tip: If part of your image doesn’t stamp properly, don’t re-ink it. Carefully stamp over it again and the leftover ink will land exactly where you need it!

🌸 Heirloom Boutique

  • Created with the Heirloom Boutique Bundle in Basic Beige, Crisp Cantaloupe and Peaceful Pine
  • The photopolymer sentiment was curved right on the block to fit the space beautifully.
  • A little sparkle pen added the prettiest shimmer to the flower and leaves.
  • Favourite tip: Pop the flower up on bump-its and place it slightly off-center for a little extra interest and dimension.
