Easy Diamond Gate Fold Card
If you love a fun fold that looks impressive but is actually really easy to make, you are going to want to try this Diamond Gate Fold Card!
This fold has quickly become one of my favourites because it gives all that beautiful Designer Series Paper we have tucked away in our craft rooms a chance to really shine. And if you’re anything like me, you probably have enough pretty paper to wallpaper a good portion of your neighbourhood! 😂
The best part? Once you know the basic measurements, you can completely change the look simply by switching up your paper, stamps and embellishments.
I created five Diamond Gate Fold cards in total to show just how versatile this design can be. In the video, I make two of them step by step: a playful Halloween version and a completely different Christmas version.

Diamond Gate Fold Card Measurements
- Designer Series Paper 5-1/4″ × 12″ score at 2″, 4″, 8″ and 10″
- Cardstock Backing 4-1/4″ × 5-1/2″
- Front Diamond Layers
- Cardstock: 3″ × 3″
- Basic White or Very Vanilla: 2-3/4″ × 2-3/4″
- Inside Layer 3-3/4″ × 5″
The Halloween version is playful and fun, while the Christmas card has a completely different feel with all that gorgeous gold and greenery.

In the video I walk you through both cards step by step and share a few little tricks and card-making tips along the way to help with assembling and decorating the fold.
