Hello and welcome on this official first day of Summer!! And what a beautiful day it is to share the Expressions In Colour Paper Pumpkin kit with you.
This gorgeous Paper Pumpkin box was delivered to my front door Friday morning and I instantly fell in love with the box. I know that sounds silly but just look at how pretty it is!
As much as I wanted to tear into this box right away I patiently waited until I could go Live on Birdsnest Designs Facebook page to reveal the goodies inside. Sunday afternoon the video was live and posted … if you missed it you can watch the replay here or on my YouTube Channel.
The Expressions In Colour Paper Pumpkin is full of so many pretty elements. I am excited to get started on making the cards. But first, I took a picture of the kit contents to share with you here.
The cards are so beautiful it is crazy to think how quick and easy they were to make .I made one of each of the cards as per the instruction sheet included in the Paper Pumpkin kit. Check back later this month and I will have the alternate projects posted too!
This is the first card! That background is breathtaking on it’s own but layered with the vellum it is just gorgeous!
I just had to zoom in on this vellum so you could really admire it!! So as I said this card came together so easily and I love how it turned out. Now on to the next 🙂
This note size card is striking with the new in-colour Evening Evergreen! Notice that the floral images are stamped on the alcohol-ink looking background paper? This gives at a nice layered look to the card! I’m really liking the sparkle that the included sequins add to these projects!
Last but not least is the card that I would call my favourite of the Expressions In Colour kit!
Isn’t it fabulous? I really like the foliage printed vellum and the beautiful laser cut dies. The assortment of in-colours used for this kit all go so nicely together too!
