Hello Stampin’ Friends … nice to see you! This week on the blog I am focusing on the Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer stamp set. This is one of those stamp sets that you can alter and customize to fit whatever occasion you need!
Mixing and matching with this stamp set is so much fun! Today I wanted to create a Birthday card … so an arm full of presents it is!!
How easily this could be changed to a Christmas card by simply switching up the colours … I just love the versatility 😃.
I used 4 out of 5 of the 2021-2023 In Colours and a splash of Blackberry Bliss to create the colour scheme on today’s card. The complete supply list of products I used to make this card can be found at the end of this post.
Let’s make the card!
- Start with a Soft Succulent card base (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″) scored at 4-1/4″
- Attach Blackberry Bliss cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″ then Basic White cardstock 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Cut and adhere a 2-1/2″ x 5″ strip of Soft Succulent DSP from the 6″ x 6″ In Colour Assortment
- Die cut from Blackberry Bliss cardstock a scallop rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies (Love these dies!!) then attach it to the card front as shown
- On a 3/4″ x 4″ strip of Basic White cardstock stamp Happy Birthday (from the Sweet As A Peach stamp set) with Blackberry Bliss ink. Flag the end with the Banners Pick-A-Punch and attach.
- Heat emboss the ‘To a sweet friend’ with white embossing powder on Blackberry Bliss cardstock measuring 1/2″ x 2″. Adhere just below the Happy Birthday using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Basic White cardstock stamp the skirt/leg image and then the arms full of presents directly above. Because these stamps are photopolymer they are really easy to line up!
- Colour the image with Stampin’ Blends markers. I used Soft Succulent, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss and Ivory.
- Using nice sharp paper snips, fussy cut the image out and add it to your card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Complete the card by sprinkling a few of the Mint Macaron Genial Gems on and beneath the sentiments.
