Hello and welcome! I am so glad that you have stopped by today. This week I will be showcasing projects created with the amazing Peaceful Cabin Bundle. You can take a peek at this lovely bundle on page 37-38 of the July-December 2021 Mini Catalogue.
Today’s card shows the rustic elegance of the Peaceful Cabin bundle. The buffalo plaid Designer Series Paper that I used is from the recently retired Peaceful Prints collection. I though it was absolutely perfect for this card and couldn’t resist using it!!
I wanted to do something a little different on this card and so decided to have the focal point of the card, the gorgeous stamped cabin scene, on a diagonal. The layer of Cork Specialty paper (this is one of my current favourite products ❤) really adds to the rustic feel of this card.
The Peaceful Cabin stamp set is a Dist-INK-tive style stamp, I just love how life-like the images are with all of that gorgeous detail! I stamped the trees in the background using Evening Evergreen ink. The cabin and fence are stamped with Soft Suede and then die cut using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Cabin Dies. Using mini Stampin’ Dimensionals behind both the cabin and the fence give this project lots of fun dimension.
The Peaceful Cabin stamp set contains 5 wonderful greetings that can be used for a variety of different occasions. On today’s card I stamped the ‘Wishing You The Best’ sentiment on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and punched it out in an oval shape using the Double Oval Punch.
