Sunny Sentiments with Sunshine & Rainbows DSP • Denise Cox

Hello and Happy Family Day to those of you here in Canada that are celebrating this holiday today! I am planning to spend the day relaxing and hopefully being a little bit crafty! Today is a double celebration for me, as it is also my birthday … I am so excited to have the day off from my day job too!! To mark this awesome Monday I am sharing a card I created with the Sunny Sentiments stamp set and the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper. Two of my favourite current products!! ❤

Today’s card is one I created for my February team creative challenge. Each month I create kits for all of my Birdsnest Stampers team members that contains bits and pieces of Stampin’ Up! product. The challenge is to create a card using these pieces. It is so much fun to see what everyone creates and we get to share our creations at our monthly online team meeting.

This month’s kit contained a strip of the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP, a panel of Simply Marbelous DSP (which I used to punch out the pieces for the daisies), two leaves from the Bough Punch in Granny Apple Green DSP and a piece of So Saffron cardstock. I chose to emboss the cardstock piece with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder to add some texture to the background of my design. This sentiment from the Sunny Sentiments stamp set is perfect for this card which I stamped with Magenta Madness ink onto a die cut label.
