Hello and welcome!! It’s Monday which means a brand new week with a brand new weekly product feature. For this week I have chosen the absolutely adorable This Birthday Piggy stamp set. This fabulous set can be found HERE on my online store or on page 55 of the Stampin’ Up!® 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. Not only are these little pigs super cute but they are a ton of fun to colour too!
When designing this card I kept nice, clean lines and paired it with a super fun and bright colour combination! I’ve used Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Tahitian Tide, but you could easily switch out the colours to suite your taste. I found die cut shapes in the Stylish Shapes dies that worked perfectly to both stamp the image in and the sentiment. I just can’t get enough of all of these dies with the perfect stitching on the edges … thanks Stampin’ Up! … this makes me so happy!!!
SQUEAL! I am just loving how sweet this little piggy is! There are three cute little pig stamps in the This Birthday Piggy stamp set and each of them is as cute as the next!
To create the focal point on today’s card I cut the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies and stamped the little pig stamp on to it … it fit perfectly! Then I coloured it in with my favourite colouring tools … Stampin’ Blends! Of course you rarely want to leave the inside of your card ‘naked’ so I have stamped another of these super cute piggies in the inside along with a simple sentiment. I love how much more special this makes the card! I’ll be sure to dress up the envelope a little too before I post it in the mail. Creating cards for loved ones is so much fun and all these little touches just add to the love that is poured into them.
