It’s Friday friends which means we are wrapping up the Friends Are Like Seashells product feature week. Today’s card shows the two large shell stamps in fun & fabulous colours for Summer.
Both the Seaside Seashells dies and the Seashells 3D embossing folder coordinate with the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set and using them together makes creating so easy! My card today uses all three products and I’ve included the step-by-step instructions if you want to learn how easily you can recreate this card. Let’s Make It!
- Cut a Petal Pink card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ then score on the long edge at 4-1/4″ and fold to create your card
- Emboss a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock using the Seashells 3D embossing folder, layer on to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock and attach to the card front
- On a piece of Basic White cardstock stamp the following:
- Large spiral shell in Polished Pink
- Large conch shell in Petal Pink
- (2) Sea foliage in Bermuda Bay
- Using the Seaside Seashells dies cut out the stamped images
- Cut a 1/2″ x 4-1/8″ strip of Bermuda Bay cardstock and flag the right end using the Banners Pick A Punch, then heat emboss the sentiment using white embossing powder
- Adhere sentiment strip near the bottom of the card using stampin’ dimensionals
- Add the diecut seashells to the card as shown using stampin’ dimensionals on both shells and mulitpurpose liquid glue on the foliage
- Add five irridescent rhinestones to your card front for some added pizzazz!
- Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card
- Stamp the large spiral shell with Polished Pink ink in the bottom right corner, then add two foliage stamps in Bermuda Bay
- Adhere the insert to the inside of your card to finish it off
