Sweet Friend

Today I want to share with you another adorable Easter card that I created. I am taking advantage of this extra time at home and getting all of my Easter cards done and ready to send out. This year I think that my friends and family will appreciate some happy mail more than ever!!

Today’s card that I am sharing with you features the super fun Fable Friends stamp set.

Fable Friends (148670) $30.00 – Annual Catalogue

I can not resist these cute little animal images, they are perfect for Easter!!

I chose to use the bunny image for my card today. He is so adorable and reminds me of Peter Rabbit in the Beatrix Potter books I loved as a child.

I coloured Mr. Rabbit with my Stampin Blends markers … Crumb Cake, Gray Granite, Flirty Flamingo and Balmy Blue. I then fussy cut him out and bumped him up onto the lovely stitched shape from the Wild Rose framelit dies.

The Sweet Friend sentiment is part of the Welcome Easter stamp set in the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue. I have stamped it using Crumb Cake ink and cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly dies, I love the stitched edging!!

To finish the card off I added six of these beautiful spring flowers. These are stamped using the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set and punched out with the Small Bloom punch. Both of these items are available for free when you spend $60 or $120 during Sale-a-Bration promotion.

The flowers are stamped in So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Pool Party. To get the 3D look for the flowers I put them in the palm of my hand and press into the middle of them using the back end of a pen. To complete each flower I added a small pearl to the center.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope that today’s post has inspired you to do a little crafting/stamping of your own. Let’s make the best of our extra time at home one craft project at a time πŸ˜‰

Sending hugs … take care and stay safe!

Welcome Easter stamp set (151559) $27.00

I started by recreating this fabulous card by Chic n’ Scratch that I found online. It was so adorable that I then had to make another using Petal Pink … I love the way they both turned out!

Sticking with the Easter theme I decided I would create another card … I couldn’t decide which adorable little guy I should use so I decided on all three!!! I pulled out some of my lighter Stampin’ Blends colours and had a lot of fun bringing these images to life.

My creative afternoon did not end there. While I was on the Chic n’ Scratch website I came across another fun fold card that I wanted to try. I switched it up a little and made another sweet baby card, This time I also brought in the So Sentimental bundle to add a different sentiment in the bottom corner.
