Hello, welcome and HAPPY CANADA DAY! Today I am very excited to share the new Whiskey Business stamp set with you!

From my first glance through the beautiful 2020-2021 Annual catalogue I knew I wanted to get my creative hands on this stamp set. I love that it is something different and masculine.
Using the Whiskey Business stamp set paired with the Tasteful Labels dies I came up with some great masculine cards! The Tasteful Labels dies are another of my top picks from the new Annual Catalogue.
Old-Fashioned Birthday Card
I chose to use So Saffron, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, and Smoky Slate as the colour combination for my first card. The layout of the card came from one pictured on page 33 of the Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual catalogue.

I stamped the images on Whisper White cardstock using my Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad and coloured them in with Stampin’ Blends. There are no framelits for this set but fussy cutting was a breeze, so I cut out all three! The shading at the bottom of the card front makes it look as though the glasses are sitting on a table, I adhered the decanter with Stampin’ Seal adhesive. Using dimensionals I “popped” the glasses up to add an extra layer to the design.

I love this sentiment!! It is great to use along with the Whiskey Business stamp set but also would pair well with any “old-fashioned” images. I can see old trucks, cars or antiques … typewriters, rotary phone… I’m sure you get my point!! So versatile.
I stamped the greeting onto Crumb Cake cardstock and used one of the shapes from the Tasteful Labels dies to cut it out. These dies are definitely on my “must-have” list from this catalogue. I love the subtle lines and stitching along the edges and the shapes are great alone or layered together!
To finish it off I twisted up some linen thread in behind the sentiment for some texture and added some bling of course. I wanted black bling so I coloured some Rhinestone Basic Jewels with my dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends marker. Voila … perfectly matched black bling!!
More Whiskey Business Birthday Cheer

I really had a lot of fun playing with this stamp set. Again I used the Tasteful Labels dies to cut the pieces for the sentiment and the black piece layered behind it. The colour scheme for this card is Cinnamon Cider, Basic Black, and Mango Melody. I also used the World Of Good Specialty DSP and the Old World Paper embossing folder in my design. The bling on this card are the 2020-2022 In-Colour Enamel dots .. I love these little guys.
Again I will point out how versatile these sentiments are … I just love that!
The last card I am going to share with you today uses a colour combination I stumbled on by accident. Don’t you just love happy accidents? Cinnamon Cider and Pool Party just may be a new favourite colour combo for me!!

How about that fun patterned paper? I am really liking this year’s colour family 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers. The patterns are really great and can be used for so much!! I’ve also used the new gold Gilded Gems which add a perfect amount of sparkle and bling!!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you are feeling inspired to create a little something of your own. If you overlooked this fabulous stamp set as you thumbed through the catalogue be sure to look again … it really is a great one!!
Happy Canada Day everyone, I hope that you take some time today to do something you love and to celebrate this beautiful country we live in!!
Cheers … eh?
