We are in the midst of a heat wave here in BC this week with temperatures 40°C + … how are you staying cool? For me escaping the heat means more time in my cool, basement craft room. Today I am excited to share this month’s alternate projects for the Expressions In Color Paper Pumpkin kit. Christine has created a bunch of gorgeous projects again this month!
This month’s Expression In Color kit from Paper Pumpkin is full of fun colours and some amazing die cut pieces. I have to say that I absolutely loved the “sprig” images and the colours but was a little challenged to use the vellum in a creative way. It’s not one of my usual go-to products. In any case I did come up with a few alternative projects for those of you looking to do something a little different with this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit.
Once I got into this kit the projects came together fairly easy and I couldn’t stop creating ?.
I was able to create all of this from just one kit… four alternative cards, a 12×12 scrapbook layout, a post it note holder and decorate an ombre gift bag too! I did run out of “sprigs” but was able to find a die cut in my stash to create some additional ones for the post-it note holder. Love all of the adhesive backed sequins that were included! I could easily add a pop of sparkle and interest to the projects.
After creating with the Expressions In Color Paper Pumpkin Kit this month I am excited to see what ‘adventure’ the July kit will bring!
