Hello friends and welcome! Today’s card is a quick and simple Halloween card I created using the Scary Silhouettes dies. These can be purchased alone or as part of the Stampin’ Up! Scary Cute bundle. Either way they make for some really easy Halloween crafting!
In making this card quick and simple I stuck to just two colours (this is a challenge for me) … Crushed Curry and Basic Black. I wanted to create a Halloween night theme on the card and with the help of the starry night sky paper from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper I was able to create it. And of course I love the added sparkle from the strip of black glitter washi at the bottom ?.

Let’s Make It!
- Cut a Crushed Curry card base 11″ x 4-1/4″ then score on the long edge at 5-1/2″, fold to create your card
- Adhere a 4″ x 5-1/4″ star pattern piece from Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper
- Die cut the rectangle frames from Picture This dies on a Basic Black 3-3/4″ x 5″, apply a strip of the black glitter washi tape across the bottom, then adhere to card front using mini black stampin’ dimensionals
- Using Basic Black cardstock and the Scary Silhouettes dies cut out the cat, haunted house and three bats
- Adhere to the card in and around the frames using black stampin’ dimensionals
- Die cut the banner from the Scary Silhouettes dies out of Crushed Curry cardstock and stamp the sentiment using black ink
- Adhere to the card in the bottom left corner using black stampin’ dimensionals
- Complete the card front by adhering a few Matte Black Dots
- Don’t forget to show a little love to the inside of your card too … see how I decorated the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White insert in the photo below!
