Having A Hoot with Bird's Eye View - Sketch 7 • Birdsnest Designs

Today’s card is the seventh in my 22 Sketches 22 Days series and features Stampin’ Up! Bird’s Eye View stamp set and Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper. The inspirational start for the card I am sharing today came from the seventh sketch on page 22 of the 2024 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.

I love to play with sketches when I am paper crafting because it opens a whole world of possibilities and new ideas. Take a look at the sketch below and the project that it inspired next to it.

Bird’s Eye View is one of my very favourite stamp sets. I just love the sweet birds and how fun it is to add the glasses or monocle to each of them. With these fun images you can really get creative with the colours too. Tonight I used Petunia Pop, Misty Moonlight and Boho Blue to colour the owl so that it would coordinate with the Designer Series Paper on the card.
