Cup Of Tea Take Care Card

Happy Monday! Cup of Tea is the bundle that I have chosen to feature this week on the blog. This bundle is part of the Stampin’ Up! Tea Boutique Suite Collection in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. This is another great suite to play with as we prepare and anticipate the arrival of spring. I love all the florals paired with the cute little tea cups!

Having the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes on hand makes it super easy to grab one and create a simple and pretty card. It’s the card base and first layer already done for you!! The cards come in all five of the 2022-2024 In Colours: Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide, Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party. These five colours will be sticking around for another year so it’s a great time to buy a set of these cards now while they are still available. When the current catalogue retires on April 30th these cards and envelopes may too.

Let’s Make It!

• Start with a lattice patterned, Starry Sky card from the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes pack
• Using the Stitched rectangles dies cut a large rectangle from Basic White cardstock
• At the bottom of the die cut rectangle, stamp “Take care of yourself” from the Cup of Tea stamp set with Fresh Freesia ink
• Stamp the tea cup image from the Cup of Tea stamp set with Starry Sky ink on to an Orchid Oasis faded patterned piece from the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper
• Die cut the tea cup using the coordinating Teacup dies and Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine
• Place the tea cup above the sentiment on the rectangle and make a slight pencil mark at the top of the cup
• Remove the die cut tea cup and stamp the branches of leaves from the Cup of Tea stamp set with Old Olive ink so that the bottom of the branches is slightly below your pencil mark
• Stamp the small flowers atop of the branches with Fresh Freesia ink
• Glue the tea cup die cut in place on the rectangle
• Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere the rectangle to the center of the card front
• Stamp the half lemon slice with Daffodil Delight on to a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, die cut with the coordinating Teacup die and adhere to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Add three of the light Starry Sky 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots: two below the lemon and one above the tea cup handle
