Let’s take a trip to the ocean with this beautiful birthday card using the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set. This fabulous stamp set is part of the Sand & Sea product suite which is packed full of fun elements for your paper-crafting projects!
The colour combination that I used is from this week’s creative challenge. When I was deciding on a card to create with these colours a beach theme came to mind. I decided this was the perfect chance to spend a little time with the Sand & Sea Suite from the new Mini Catalogue!

I can not get over the detail and elegance in the Sand & Sea product suite. There are so many beautiful images and sentiments, not to mention the die cut & embossing. I can see many, many projects with this suite in the future!

Check out the details in those seashells! They were easy to create in just 4 simple steps using the Sand & Sea product suite.
- Cut the large die image out using Pearlescent Specialty Paper. This is what gives that lovely shimmer effect to to the shells.
- Stamp the matching images on to the die cut shape. This is made very easy with the use of the Stamparatus!
- Place and line up the stamped die cut into the Seashells 3D embossing folder and run through your Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine.
- Cut the shells away from the other parts of the die cut. Voila! Gorgeous seashell embellishments to use on your next project!!
