Birds & Branches For All Occasions

Hello stampin’ friends. Thank you for popping in on this beautiful, hot summer day! I have some great all occasions cards to share with you using the Birds & Branches stamp set and the Birds & More dies.

I love the versatility of the Birds & Branches stamp set. As you will see, you can create so many different looks with just a few simple supplies. That’s a win in my book! For this card I used cardstock in Soft Suede and Sahara Sand and Basic White. Ink pads used are Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Balmy Blue and Night of Navy. This set has images for two-step stamping which is how I got the dual coloured bird. For the gradient look on the eggs I used the rock and roll stamping technique. Simply ink your image in the lighter colour and then “rock” the edges on the darker before you stamp on your paper. Such a fun and easy technique!

I wrapped some linen thread around the bottom of the Basic White layer a few times and tied a pretty bow. The natural look of the thread is perfect for this card. The sentiment used on this card is from the Art Gallery stamp set. It is always nice to have “thinking of you” cards on hand!

I am thrilled with how this Z-Fold card turned out. The colours really compliment one another … Just Jade, Cinnamon Cider, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and a splash of gold!

I love the heartfelt greeting on the front of this card… you can find it in the Forever Blossoms stamp set. The beautiful branches are cut from the Birds & More dies and are perfect for adding that extra layer!

My third and final Birds & Branches card today is something a little different. I changed up the colour pallet and had some fun with the little birdie dies.

The thank you that I used also came from the Art Gallery stamp set. I really like the simple look of the font and the nice simple words. I can never have enough thank you cards on hand! The pop of colour on this card is a combination of Pool Party, Blushing Bride, Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Early Espresso and Old Olive. Some simple stamping, a couple of die cut birds from the Birds & More die set, and a few adhesive backed sequins for sparkle and the card is complete.
