Friends Are Like Seashells: A Simple Masking Technique

3 Aug
Masking Technique Friends Are Like Seashells via @denise34

Hi stampin’ friends!  Today I have a really easy masking technique to share from my Facebook Live Tutorial Tuesday yesterday. I used the “must have” Stampin’ Up! Masking Paper along with the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set to show this fun technique.

I was so excited when I saw this new Masking Paper in the Annual catalogue and am happy to finally be sharing it with all of you.  It makes the masking technique easier than ever!!

Continue scrolling through today’s post .. and you’ll find the step-by-step video tutorial, the colour combo I used as well as a list of all the Stampin’ Up! goodies I used to make this card.

All of the items that I used to create this simple card can be purchased through my online store.   So go ahead and make your wish-list then head on over to place your order.

Thank you for popping in today, I hope that you like today’s project!  Come back to visit on Friday to see another Friends Are Like Seashells project.   Hope to see you then ?.

Wishing you a fabulous day … happy stamping!

Are you excited to see this new Masking Paper in action?  I’d love to show you!  … Press play on the video thumbnail and join me in my craft room as we  stamp and create this simple friendship card.

watched the replay. Super cute card. I love the masking technique. I hadn’t noticed the masking paper in the AC, so will definitely add it to my Wish List. I love the colour combination, too, Balmy Blue and Early Espresso. I think I like the way the colours show on the Basic White. I couldn’t really see the shimmer on the other paper. Either way, though, a really lovely card!

Meet Denise

Hi there! I’m Denise Cox—welcome to my crafty corner of the internet! I live in Saskatchewan, Canada with my husband Brandon, and a house full of furry love—our two dogs, Linus and Lucy, and our cats, Cleo and Chloe. I’ve been passionate about paper crafting for as long as I can remember and was introduced to Stampin’ Up! back in 2009. After falling in love with the products, I joined as a demonstrator the following year—and I’ve never looked back! I love sharing beautiful projects and helping others discover their creativity. Thanks for stopping by—I’m so glad you’re here!
