I truly enjoy the simple things in life … all things crafty, movies with happy endings and spending time with the people I love.
When I am not busy creating in my craft room you will most likely find me out in the garden, playing or snuggling with our dogs, cooking something up in the kitchen or enjoying a coffee with friends and family!
My Stampin’ Up! Journey
I have been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since November 2010 and to say it has been an amazing journey would be an understatement. Saying yes to the Starter Kit was one of the best decisions that I have ever made!
I became a Demonstrator so that I could enjoy a discount on the products that I had grown to love. When I joined Stampin’ Up! I was very busy Mom of 11 and 9 year old boys, running them around to hockey rinks, baseball fields, keeping track of crazy schedules and working full time – all the things that us busy Mom’s do! I was trying to fit in some creative ‘me’ time when I could but wasn’t making it a priority. Who has the energy after those long, busy Mom days? I had never thought about teaching classes or sharing my creativity with other until I DID!
It started with a small group of my close scrapbooking friends and then as I got more comfortable with that I started to invite some of the moms I had met at the boys’ school or sporting events. Slowly my shy, quiet self was coming out of her shell! Before too long I was sharing my love of stamping and paper crafting with people I would meet, my friends were inviting their friends, and over time we built this incredible community of fun, crafty people! This in its self is life changing! To truly say that you belong to a community, help to build that community and to nurture the love of paper crafting within that community is such a blessing!! Through creativity my life’s journey has been forever changed. I have been blessed with wonderful opportunities, met so many amazing people and built lasting, meaningful friendships. I can’t wait to see what the rest of this journey brings ❤️
There is always a ‘why’ for doing what we do in our lives. My Stampin’ Up! why is simple. “To help and inspire others to find and embrace their creativity” We all have it, sometimes we just need a little help to bring it out ❤️
