Stampin Up Beautifully Happy get well card in shades of pink

Today’s card is a sneak peek of the Beautifully Happy stamp set that will be available as a Sale-A-Bration selection in January 2023.  I received this stamp set a one of the many gifts that Stampin’ Up! spoiled us with at OnStage earlier this month.  Early access to new-release products is just one of the many perks I love about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.  Join my team and you can gain early access to the Jan- Apr 2023 Mini Catalogue & Sale-a-Bration products starting December 1st too!

To create this pretty card to share with you, I have combined a few Annual Catalogue products with the upcoming Beautifully Happy stamp set.

I started with a Basic White Thick cardstock base and adhered a panel of Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the front.  Next I cut a large scallop frame using the Scalloped Contour dies and Polished Pink cardstock and attached it to the card.  I stamped the gorgeous flower image from the Beautifully Happy stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink directly on to another piece of Awash in Beauty DSP then did the two-step stamping with Polished Pink, Blushing Bride and Old Olive ink.  I just love the shaded effect that these two step stamps have … so pretty and so easy!  Then I stamped the little speckles with black ink and added the little bumblebee stamp above one of the flowers.

This stamped panel was then layered on to a piece of Basic White cardstock and then adhered to the center of the scallop frame.  I added a few Elegant Faceted Gems around the stamped flowers to add some ‘bling’ and dimension.  For the sentiment I stamped it on Blushing Bride cardstock and punched it out using the Double Oval punch, then attached to the card with dimensionals.

I love to add a little extra love to the inside of my cards too and this one was really fun to do.  I added a strip of Awash in Beauty DSP along the bottom, stamped two of the single flower stamps, a few speckles and a bumblebee to make it coordinate beautifully with the card front.  Then I chose the heartfelt ‘for a feeling-better kind of day’ sentiment to stamp in the center.

As I mentioned before, the Beautifully Happy stamp set is one that you will be able to chose as your free Sale-a-Bration item with a $120 CDN order starting in January.  If you want to get your crafty hands on this product sooner I’d love to welcome you to my Birdsnest Stampers community as a Stampin’ Up! Cup Of Tea: Trip Achiever’s Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Up!® Incentive Trip Achievers monthly blog hop. Stampin' Up Cup of Tea and Tea Boutique DSP were used to create this Take care of Yourself card

Today’s card is filled with a little extra love and would be perfect for a tea-loving friend.  All of the products in the Tea Boutique suite are so pretty, filled with beautiful tea themed imagery and gorgeous colours.  The sentiment that I used on today’s card is Take Care of Yourself and so I felt it would be fitting if there was a place to hold a tea bag inside the card.

I started with a Basic White Thick cardstock card base and then added to patterned pieces from the Tea Bouitique DSP to cover the front of the card.  I cut a banner with the Stylish Shapes dies, stamped the sentiment on to it and adhered it across where the two patterned pieces met.  Using the Layering Circle and Stylish Shapes dies I created the scalloped circle behind the tea cup.  I stamped the images from the Cup of Tea stamp set in a fun assortment of colours: Sweet Sorbet, Shaded Spruce, Parakeet Party and Petal Pink, die cut them with the Teacup dies and arranged on to the circle with stampin’ dimensionals.  I added a piece of white Baker’s Twine to the little tag and stamped the ‘it’s time for tea’ sentiment on it.  For the finishing I touch I added a pearl to the center of each of the flowers.

For the inside of the card I cut another piece of Designer Series Paper and adhered it to create a pocket that would hold a single tea bag.

Fun Fold card created with Stampin' Up! Hippest Hippos stamps and coordinating Hippo Dies

Today’s card is a fun and simple card that I created for each of the members of my Birdsnest Stampers team.  I send each of them a card every month to show how much I appreciate every one of them.  This month I used the sale-a-bration set Hippest Hippos.  I absolutely love these little guys and the cute sentiment was perfect for my team cards.  I am really going to miss these adorable hippos when they are gone at the end of the month.

This simple fun fold card is very easy to make. It is just a 3″ x 6-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock folded in half to make a 3″ x 3-1/4″ card.  Once this card was all decorated up I attached it to a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of cardstock that was layered with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Designer Series Paper.  And that’s as easy as it gets!

Take a look at the end of this post to see all of the Stampin’ Up! products that I used to make this fun Hippest Hippos card.

Simply Fabulous Stampin' Up! Thank You Card

Today’s card is a fun and simple card that I created to show off the Simply Fabulous stamp set.  This set is so fun with its nice assortment of simple floral images and awesome greeting stamps.  I have chosen this to be my featured product this week and am looking forward to sharing ideas with Simply Fabulous all week long.

I used a bright colour pallet of four of the 2022-2024 In Colors: Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky, Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party.  What a brilliant and fun combo this is!   The complete list of products that I have used can be found by scrolling to the bottom of today’s post.  All of them are available to purchase through my online store or by contacting me to place your order!

Amazing sentiments aside, the thing that caught my eye about the Simply Fabulous stamp set is the endless possibilities that can be created by mixing and matching the simple floral and leafy images.  For my card today I chose to use the cute little flowers that look like hearts.  They are perfect for this heartfelt thank you card I wanted to create.

Now let’s talk about this amazing Designer Series Paper.  I always LOVE patterned paper but this year I especially love the 6″ x 6″ Colour Family Collections.  The patterns this year are wonderful!  As you can see, I mixed a couple of these papers on today’s card, the plaid in Tahitian Tide and the stripes in Sweet Sorbet.

To complete the card and to add that perfect finishing touch, I add three of the smallest Brushed Brass Butterflies embellishments.  I was happy to see that these popular butterflies carried over to the Annual Catalogue, they are such a pretty embellishment.

I have stamped in the inside of my card too!  This always makes the card seem extra special and ties everything together so nicely.  I’ve used the same stamp images from the front of the card and stamped them again on the inside.

Here are some quick measurements to create this card yourself:

  • Tahitian Tide cardbase 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
  • Starry Sky 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
  • Tahitian Tide DSP 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
  • Sweet Sorbet DSP 2-1/4″ x 4-3/4″
  • Sweet Sorbet 3/8″ x 4-1/4″
  • Scalloped Contour die cut 3-3/4″ x 2-1/2″

Oceanfront Greetings: Trip Achiever’s Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Up!® Incentive Trip Achievers monthly blog hop. My project for today’s hop is a fun card I created with the Oceanfront stamp set.  Whether this is your first stop or you are hopping in from a previous blog I am so happy you are here!

Get set for some amazing inspiration today as you hop along all over the world! Check out the amazing talents of some of the top Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the globe by clicking on the links at the end of this post. Please leave a comment as you visit … we love to hear from you ❤.

Today’s card is the one I created and sent to all of the members of my Birdsnest Stampers team this month.  I combined the stunning Oceanfront images with the beachy sentiment from Paradise Palms.  I was delighted to see that both of these stamp sets were carried into the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue because they were really fun to stamp with.  I was able to create beautiful layers just by using stamps and ink.  This makes for a quick and easy card  … especially when you are making lots of them!

Oceanfront is a distinktive style stamp set, which means that the stamp themselves are built to creat depth and layers to the stamped images.  Combining this with multi layer stamping like I did on the stamped rocks creates a real wow factor!  It really makes the images come to life!

As I mentioned this pretty card is created just by putting ink to stamp to paper!  To complete the card and add that perfect finishing touch, I add six pebbles from a package of Pebbles Enamel Shapes.  Now these fabulous embellies did NOT make it to the Annual Catalogue so if you are wanting to add some to your supplies then pop on over to my online store and get some before they are gone on June 30th!

My Birdsnest Stampers team are a fabulous group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.  I love celebrating them every month by sending a hand-stamped card in the mail.  Who doesn’t enjoy getting happy mail with thoughtful words of encouragement … and I love making them and popping them in the mail.

Thank you again for hopping by today … I hope you have enjoyed today’s project!  Click on any of the links below to continue your journey in today’s fabulous blog hop!!
