Hello and Happy National Daisy Day!! That’s right today we celebrate my favourite flower the simple and pretty daisy! In celebration I have created a ‘Ridiculously Awesome’ card using a few of my go-to Stampin’ Up! products.

The card that I am sharing with you today features both Ridiculously Awesome and the Daisy Lane stamp sets. Both of these are sets that I tend to use again and again! I have combined these with a number of other products from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.
Here’s the list of all of the supplies used
Let’s take a closer look
Isn’t the font of the Ridiculously Awesome stamp set gorgeous? I have stamped it with Early Espresso ink on to a scallop rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Behind that I have a piece of So Saffron cardstock that has been embossed with the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder and a strip of Ornate Garden DSP. I do love to layer!!
To make the daisies I have put two punched images together to form each flower and curled the petals slightly on each. I used the edge of my bone folder and lightly curled each petal under. To get that lovely yellow centre on the white daisy I used my sponge dauber with a tad of Bumblebee ink and added 7 gold metallic pearls. The greenery is cut using the Forever Flourishing dies in both Granny Apple Green and Garden Green and is just tucked in amongst the daisies.

I hope that you have enjoyed today’s post. If you would like to see a really fun technique and another card using the Daisy Lane stamp set check out my A Fun Marble Background Technique tutorial.
Have a fabulous day!
