Delicate Dahlias Thank You Kindly Cards • Birdsnest Designs

Hooray … it’s Friday!! Today I have a quick post to share two Thank You Kindly cards that I created with the Delicate Dahlias stamp set! I have loved creating with this beautiful stamp set all week. I could stamp and create all day with these pretty flowers. I love that the images are dist-INK-tive style stamps which is what provides all that glorious depth and realism.

I send out a lot of thank you cards, and the thank you KINDLY sentiment included with this stamp set is perfect!!

This is a very simple card and so quick to make. To create the black line border I simply cut a piece of cardstock to 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ and laid it over top of the Basic White cardstock once it was already stamped with the dahlia and the leaves. Then I just traced around it with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker skipping over the sections that overlapped with the stamped images.

To make the sentiment ‘pop’ I used the Double Oval punch and Stampin’ Dimensionals, I love how these punched shapes layer together. Lastly I completed the card design by adding a sweet little Bumblebee Trinket ?

This is the second thank you card I created with the Delicate Dahlias stamp set. There are quite a few more layers and embellishments on this one. I had fun combining the rustic woodgrain DSP with some elegant gold elements. You will find a complete list of the products I used on both of these cards at the end of this post.
