Hip-hip Hooray I am so glad it is Friday!! The project I have to share with you today is a beautiful birthday card I made using the Stampin’ Up!® Artistically Inked stamp set. These floral stamps and the bright & fabulous colour combo were just what I needed today to brighten the end-of-winter blahs I was feeling. I hope it brightens your day too!

I have really grown to like the DistINKtive style stamps that Stampin’ Up! is releasing. I can honestly say that these stamps and I haven’t always been friends … but with some practice and trials I have a new appreciation for them. They produce a wonderful stamped image with so much detail, depth and WOW! Have you tried these yet?
Here’s a little stamping tip!
The key with this style of stamp is not to over-ink it. DistINKtive stamps, like the Artistically Inked one, work best with just a little ink. So rather than pressing the stamp on to the ink pad to get it inked up I do the opposite … have the stamp rubber-side up and blot the ink pad on to it very gently. You have way more control over how much ink is getting on that stamp this way and it will help to get that gorgeous stamped image every time!
The gold accents and iridescent adhesive sequins are included in the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack. They make great accents and embellishments and add a little sparkle at the same time. Gotta love that!
