Hello stampin’ friends, it is so nice to see you! Today’s post is all about fun & simple stamping techniques. When I first started stamping I was so excited to learn any and all techniques that I came across. I was in awe of how much could be done with a few simple supplies: ink, stamp and paper. This love for stamping grew and 13 years later I am so excited to share a few of my favourites with you. I found that the Lovely & Lasting Stampin’ Up!® stamp set is perfect for showing off a number of these techniques. Let’s take a look ❤

In this week’s Tutorial Tuesday Facebook Live video I shared these 5 fun & simple stamping techniques using the Lovely & Lasting stamp set. To watch the replay scroll down and click on the video link. This fabulous set can be found in the Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue on page 25 or HERE on my online store.
5 Fun & Simple Stamping Techniques

#1: Simply Stamp
This is the simplest of stamping. Ink up the stamp on a Pale Papaya Classic Stampin’ Pad and stamp on Basic White cardstock. Creates a beautiful stamped image in one solid colour. #simplestamping

#2: Paper Piecing
Simply Stamping stepped-up! Stamp the image twice on separate pieces of Basic White cardstock, once with Mossy Meadow and once with Pale Papaya. Fussy cut the Pale Papaya flowers and ‘piece’ them over the Mossy Meadow stamped image adhering with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

#3: Kissing Technique
This is a FUN one! Ink up the large flower image on a Pale Papaya Classic Stampin’ Pad and set stamp side up. Ink the tile image with Sweet Sorbet Classic Stampin’ Pad and stamp “kiss” this stamp to the flower stamp. Repeat to cover most of the flower and then stamp on to Basic White cardstock. You’ll have a pretty patterned stamped image!

#4: Stamping with Stampin' Write Markers
Using Stampin’ Write Markers in the 2021-2023 In Colours: Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen, colour the large flower stamp. “Huff” on the stamp once it is coloured and then stamp on to Basic White cardstock.

#5: Watercolor with Stampin' Write Markers
Using Stampin’ Write Markers in the 2021-2023 In Colours: Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen, colour the large flower stamp. Spray water on to the coloured stamp using a Stampin’ Spritzer. Spray until you can see the ink pooling and then stamp the image onto Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
