Welcome to Make It Monday it’s time for this week’s creative challenge post. I have used this week’s sketch challenge to create a simple Christmas card with the Stampin’ Up! Joy of Noel bundle. I love all of the elements and the simplicity of today’s Joy of Noel Christmas card. Working from a sketch is becoming one of my favourite ways to design cards. Taking inspiration from the beautiful oy of Christmas Designer Series Paper I kept with a traditional Christmas colour scheme of Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce with just a hint of Basic Black.
The cards featured in my Creatively Hatched Joy of Noel card class this month are anything but traditional colours!

Here are the cardstock and Designer Series Paper measurements you’ll want to recreate this card.
- Cherry Cobbler card base: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
- Basic White cardstock: 4 x 5-1/4 and die cut stylish shapes square (2-3/8)
- Shades Spruce cardstock: 2-1/4 x 2-1/4
- Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper: 1-1/4 x 4-1/4 and 1/2 x 4-1/4
