20 Sketches in 20 Days: Crafting Inspiration with Caring Leaves

Welcome to Day 3 of my Mini Catalogue 20 Sketches 20 Days series! Today’s card showcases the elegant Caring Leaves stamp set, featuring a beautiful autumn-inspired design that perfectly captures the timeless beauty of nature

Sketches are such a fantastic way to ignite our creativity. They provide a great starting point, allowing for endless possibilities and personal touches. Today’s inspiration comes from the third sketch on page 16 of the 2024 Mini Catalogue.

Today’s card showcases the beautiful Caring Leaves stamp set, perfectly paired with the Tags For The Season Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. I sprinkled in a bit of elegance with some gold trim and a bit of Wild Wheat Rustic Striped ribbon, giving it that warm & cozy autumn feel. These little touches pair perfectly with the gold accents from the Regal Distressed Patterns paper layered on the tag. And to top it all off, I added an embossed Blackberry Bliss background using the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder for that extra pop!

I love the whimsical yet elegant look of the leaves in the Caring Leaves stamp set. It’s quick and easy to create theses leaves in any colour using the two-step stamping technique. What is two-step stamping? Simply put, it is when you use two or more stamps together to complete an image. In the case of the Caring Leaves stamp set I used Early Espresso ink to stamp the line art image and then added the colour with a second stamp using Wild Wheat ink on the oak leaf and Cajun Craze on the other.
