20 Sketches In 20 Days: Sweetest Star Santa

Today, I’m excited to share a festive and sparkly creation featuring the Sweetest Star bundle. This card is all about shimmer and joy, with a charming little Santa as the “star” of the show. He’s layered atop a backdrop of glittering red and gold circles, adding extra shine and dimension. Perfect for sending “Sweet Wishes” this holiday season!

Sketches are a wonderful way to jumpstart creativity. They offer a great starting point while inviting endless opportunities for customization and personal expression. Today’s design is inspired by the sixth sketch on page 16 of the 2024 Mini Catalogue.

Today’s card highlights the adorable Sweetest Star stamp and punch bundle. Drawing inspiration from the tag shape in the sketch, I used a large tag from the Tags For The Season Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. To add a festive sparkle, I incorporated Gold Foil paper and Cherry Cobbler Glimmer paper. The Real Red & White Baker’s Twine brings a fun, candy cane vibe, perfectly tying together the Christmas spirit of this card.

I adore the uniqueness of the Sweetest Star bundle. It features classic Christmas icons like Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and a Gingerbread Man, all cleverly shaped into festive stars. The coordinating punch makes it super easy to cut out these images, adding layers and dimension to any project. Plus, the fonts and sentiments in this set are not only cute but also perfectly suited for holiday cards.
