Let’s talk colour on this terrific Toadstools card
Bright, bold, and fabulous are the words I would use to describe the Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, and Pumpkin Pie color combination on today’s card. These colours instantly catch the eye and create a cheerful, energetic vibe. In addition to these vibrant colours, the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper also features a fun mix of Fresh Freesia, Poppy Parade, and Early Espresso offering fun versatility for your next project.
Another stamp set from the Jan-Apr Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue that I needed right away is With You In Mind. I am loving the large size of the sentiments, the fonts used and the fun little images that compliment each greeting. On today’s card the Best Wishes sentiment fit in perfectly next to the oversized toadstool that I created with the Terrific Toadstools bundle for the focal point of the card.
The unique fold on this card works really well to show off some of the playful patterns in the Toadstool Gardens DSP. I have left the bottom flap on the inside of the card open but it could very easily be turned into a cute little pocket that you could use to include a little something special inside the card.
I love how this card turned out and had so much fun making it on my Coffee & A Card live video this morning.

Here are the measurements for the pieces you’ll need to recreate the Terrific Toadstools fun-fold card:
- Granny Apple Green cardstock: 4-1/4 x 10 scored at 4-1/4 and 8-1/2 on the long edge
- Melon Mambo cardstock: 3-3/4 x 3-3/4 and 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
- Basic White cardstock: 3-1/2 x 3-1/2, 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 and scrap piece for stamping
- Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper: 1-1/4 x 3-7/8 (stripes), 1-1/4 x 3-1/2 and 1-1/4 x 4 (green with snails) and 1/2 x 4 (Melon Mambo criss-cross)
