Festive Friday Challenge #177: Valentines with Hearts of Elegance

It’s time for a Festive Friday Challenge! This week’s Festive Friday Design Team’s challenge #FF0177 is Valentines! For my challenge card I picked out the Stampin’ Up! Hearts of Elegance Bundle along with the coordinating Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper.

What is the Festive Friday Challenge? Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo (Inspirations) List. The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Pick three of these items to create your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge Valentines is this week’s theme but guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about this theme at all! This week’s Inspo List checks all the boxes when it comes to creating for Valentine’s Day! I couldn’t pick just three so settled on these four: pink, red, gold, hearts.

Let’s make this hearts of elegance card

Cut a Real Red card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 4-1/4 and 5-1/2
Fold the card base in half on the 5-1/2 score and then fold back on the 4-1/4 score
Adhere the piece between the two score lines to the back panel of the card to create a book bind fold
Cut a 1 x 4 strip of Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper and adhere to the the left side of the card front
Wrap Gold Twisted Thread around the left side of the card and tie in a bow at the front
Emboss a 3-3/4 square piece of Basic White with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder, adhere to a 4 x 4 panel of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and attach to the card front
Using the Hearts of Elegance dies, cut a heart out of Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper and adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals
On Basic White cardstock stamp two flowers with Flirty Flamingo ink and three sets of leaves with Old Olive ink, die cut with coordinating dies and adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals
Add three Hearts Sequins to the card front to complete
Cut a Basic White 4 x 4 Basic White piece, stamp LOVE YOU with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the center and adhere inside the card
Add a single Heart Sequin next to YOU
