Welcome back to another Craft From Your Stash post! Today, I have two fun and playful birthday cards featuring the One More Year stamp set (new) and the retired Darling Donkeys set. These adorable images, paired with a rustic plaid design from the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper and lots of layers, make for perfect lighthearted birthday greetings!
For today’s project, I started with the One More Year stamp set to create a fun and playful birthday card featuring one hysterical dog, loads of layers, and a funny sentiment. The warm colours in the Timeless Plaid DSP and Neutral Sequins embellishments give it a joyful, cozy feel.
For the second card, I switched it up by pulling the retired Darling Donkeys stamp set off of my shelf and replacing the dog with the sweet little donkey. The rest of the card remained the same, but the sentiment and image create a completely different vibe—perfect for sending lighthearted birthday wishes!

Get started with these measurements to prep your materials:
- Basic White Thick card base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
- Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper 1-1/2 x 3-3/4, 1-1/4 x 3-1/2, 1 x 4
- Early Espresso cardstock 1/2 x 4
- Basic White cardstock 4 x 5-1/4 (insert), 3″ Stylish Shapes die cut circle and scrap piece for stamping
