Card Sketch Inspiration Using Lovely Arrangements

This card came together from one simple place: a sketch.

When I’m not sure what to make, or when creativity feels a little quiet, starting with a sketch takes the pressure off. I don’t have to make a hundred decisions at once. I can just begin. That’s exactly how this card started, and I love how it unfolded from there.

For this version, I used the Lovely Arrangements bundle and let the sketch guide the layout while I played with layers, texture, and a soft, calm colour palette. Sketches are wonderful that way. They give you a starting point but still leave plenty of room to make something your own.

While creating this card, I also played with a small detail that made a big impact. It’s a subtle technique using vellum that adds a beautiful softness and really highlights the texture in a way I didn’t expect. It’s one of those little “ohhh” moments that makes crafting feel extra fun.
