Flowers For Every Season

Hello and welcome! Today I am sharing with you the beautiful Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. This stunning 6″ x 6″ paper collection has floral imagery for all four seasons and is super fun to use.

One of the things that I love most about this paper is that you don’t need to add a lot to make a very pretty card. Today I created two cards both using the same layout but swapping out the DSP and cardstock. This simple card design was seen on a fellow Demonstrator’s site thepaperpapillion.com and I fell in love with it.

Let’s Make the Card

To begin you’ll need a Just Jade card base cut at 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored in half at 5-1/2″. Next have a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Emboss this piece using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. This layer can be adhered directly on to your card base.

Next you will need a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut to 3-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ and three strips of DSP each 4″ x 1″.

Wrap a piece of Just Jade gingham ribbon around and attach it to the back of the Whisper White cardstock. Next you will attach this piece to the embossed layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Finishing Touches

Tie bows and attach the ribbon layers as explained in the video tutorial. I used the So Sentimental stamp set and the Sending Healing Hugs greeting for my card. This is stamped with Misty Moonlight ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock. Using the Label Me Lovely punch I cut it out and adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I also decorated the inside of the card to add a bit of fun in there too. I did this with a layers of cardstock; Misty Moonlight 4″ x 5-1/4″ and Whisper White 3-3/4″ x 5″. Then added a strip of coordinating DSP cut at 1″ x 3-3/4″.

Like I said before, I love this simple layout and the Flowers For Every Season DSP.
