Happy National Strawberry Ice Cream Day! What a fun day … let’s celebrate with a Sweet Ice Cream Birthday card!
To create this card I combined a couple of my favourite new products. The Sweet Ice Cream bundle from the January – June 2021 Mini Catalogue and the Sale-a-bration exclusive Berry Delight DSP. Together these made a fabulous card to celebrate Strawberry Ice Cream day.
Supplies used…
There is not a lot of stamping on this card today. The speckles on the card base are from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and stamped in Blushing Bride on the same colour card base. Happy Birthday is stamped with Soft Suede. I inked one word up at a time and stamped because I wanted Happy on the top and Birthday down below. This technique is great and adds more options to your stamps … just remember to clean the stamp in between!!
How to Build the Perfect Ice Cream Cone
To build the triple-decker strawberry ice cream cone I used the Ice Cream Cone Builder punch and the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper. With a sponge dauber and Blushing Bride ink I dusted the edges with a little colour before layering them up on dimensionals. This sweet ice cream cone was so quick and easy to build, I am looking forward to making many, many more!!
