Hello, welcome … I am so glad that you are here!
Thank you for joining us for the Scrapbooking Global January Blog Hop. This month’s theme is a great one chosen by Scrapbooking Global Design Team Member Sherry Roth. My layout for this hop features the Stampin’ Up!® Rainbow of Happiness stamp set and the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper.
Whether you are starting here or have hopped on over from another blog be prepared for some awesome inspiration today. Near the bottom of this post you will find the full list of participants in this hop – be sure to check them all out! If you like what you see please leave us a comment … we love to hear from you!

I am excited to be participating in this blog hop this month. The Decorative Borders theme is such a fun one that can be interpreted in so many fun ways.
I love the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper and knew that I wanted to use it on this layout. When I grabbed this paper from my “stash” I noticed that I had a lot of 2″ strips left over from a class prep I had done. That’s when the inspiration for this layout hit!

So this may not seem like the usual decorative border that one might imagine, but it was what came to mind with all these lovely left-over strips of paper! I created a border of DSP strips along the left-hand side of my layout and another border of these DSP strips behind one of the photo mats too. Then I pulled out the Basic Borders dies and created that fabulous Granny Apple Green border!
You may have heard me mention a time or two since it’s release, that I love the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper … ❤❤. It’s happiness overload!! This is one of the Sale-A-Bration items that you can choose for FREE when you place a $60CAD order between now and February 28th, 2022. It is full of bright and cheerful colours as well as fun patterns and images… if you ask me this is a MUST have!!
Aside from the DSP, I used a medley of current Stampin’ Up! products that can be purchased from my online store. You can see the complete list of these products by scrolling to the end of today’s post.

I had a lot of fun playing with the Decorative Border theme and designing this project. Now to find the perfect photos to add and perhaps create a second page to go along!!
