Quick & Easy Masculine Card: Brewed For You

23 May
Quick & Easy Masculine Card: Brewed For You via @denise34

Happy Victoria Day here in Canada!  What an amazingly beautiful long weekend we have had so far here in the Trail, BC.  The sun has finally decided to come out to visit ❤.  Today I have a quick & easy masculine card to share with you that features the Brewed For You stamp set.  This is one of my favs from the new Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalogue.  I hear a lot that masculine cards are hard to create but I am here to tell you that with this Brewed For You stamp set you will easily be creating all kinds of masculine style cards!

The card I am sharing today is quick and easy … let me show you how in just 10 simple steps!

  1. Create a Night of Navy card base cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and scored on the long edge at 4-1/4.  Fold the cards on the score line and use a bone folder to crease the edge for a nice clean fold line.
  2. Adhere a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″ to the front of the card
  3. Cut another piece of Night of Navy cardstock to 3-1/8″ x 4-3/8″and attach this to the card front about 3/8″ from the right side of the Crumb Cake piece
  4. Cut a piece of striped Designer Series Paper from the Hey Sports Fan collection to 3″ x 4-1/4″ and adhere centered on the previous Night of Navy cardstock
  5. Using the Stitched Rectangles dies, Mini Stampin’ Cut n’ Emboss machine and Basic White cardstock die cut the rectangle that measures 2-1/4 ” x 3-1/2″
  6. With Early Espresso ink stamp the beer mug onto the die cut rectangle, the foam with Sahara Sand and the ‘beer’ with Crushed Curry ink.
  7. Adhere the stamped die cut using Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front as shown, about 1/8″ from the right edge of the Crumb Cake cardstock
  8. Cut a piece of Early Espresso cardstock to 4″ x 5/8″ and heat emboss the sentiment with white embossing powder, then adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the left side and Stampin’ Seal on the right to have a nice level banner across
  9. Complete the card by adhering 3 Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the left hand side of the stitched rectangle
  10. Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″ to attach to the inside of your card.

Meet Denise

Hi there! I’m Denise Cox—welcome to my crafty corner of the internet! I live in Saskatchewan, Canada with my husband Brandon, and a house full of furry love—our two dogs, Linus and Lucy, and our cats, Cleo and Chloe. I’ve been passionate about paper crafting for as long as I can remember and was introduced to Stampin’ Up! back in 2009. After falling in love with the products, I joined as a demonstrator the following year—and I’ve never looked back! I love sharing beautiful projects and helping others discover their creativity. Thanks for stopping by—I’m so glad you’re here!
