Hip Hip Hooray it’s Friday! Today I came up with a quick card idea to share with you. I created a birthday card using the Party Puffins stamp set along with my stamp of the week, Good Feelings. It seems it has been a bit since I shared a fun, traditional birthday themed card and these Puffins come complete with party hats and a cake too! Combined with some bright and happy colours I think this is a great birthday combo.

Let’s Make It!
- Cut a Starry Sky card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ then score on the long edge at 4-1/4″, fold to create your card
- Adhere a Starry Sky panel of Designer Series Paper, 4″ x 5-1/4″, to the card front
- Emboss a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock with the birthday embossing folder from the Let’s Celebrate duo, then adhere to the center of the card front
- Die cut (3) stitched rectangles and stamp the sentiments on to each of them from the Good Feelings and Party Puffins stamp sets using Starry Sky, Tahitian Tide and Melon Mambo ink, then attach to the card with stampin’ dimensionals
- Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink stamp the Party Puffin and the cake on to a piece of Basic White cardstock and fussy cut them out with your Paper Snips
- Colour the images using Stampin’ Blends and then attach to card with stampin’ dimensionals
- Add In Colour Matte Decorative Dots to each of the sentiment rectangles
- Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock for the inside of the card, stamp the Make A Wish sentiment from the Party Puffins stamp set in Starry Sky and candles with Memeno ink, coloured with Stampin’ Blends, then adhere inside the card
