Let’s Make It!
- Start with a 12 x 12 Basic White cardstock sheet for the base page of your layout
- From the Rain Or Shine Designer Series Paper, find the light blue rain patterned sheet and trim off the bottom 4″
- Adhere the 8 x 12 section of the rainy patterned paper to the top of the Basic White base page
- Wrap a 14″ piece of White 3/4″ Frayed Ribbon across the page at the bottom of the attached Designer Series Paper – secure the ribbon in place on the back of the cardstock and tie a knot on the front left of the ribbon
- Cut a 7 x 8-3/8 piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and secure to the bottom part of the scrapbook page with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Create and adhere the following paper blocks on to the Balmy Blue cardstock piece
- 1-1/2 x 8-1/8 strip of the Rain Or Shine Designer Series Paper – Umbrella pattern – at the bottom
- Two 3 x 4 pieces of Basic White cardstock in the middle
- 2 x 8-1/8 strip of Basic White cardstock at the top
- Using the Alphabet A La Mode Dies, cut the letters to spell ‘RAINY DAY’ out of Basic Black cardstock (you may find it easiest to apply adhesive sheet to the cardstock before cutting the letters to make adhering them in place easier)
- Using the Alphabest Bundle and Balmy Blue ink, create the little letter labels to spell the word ‘fun’
- From the Rain Or Shine Designer Series Paper cut out three of the adorable characters, rabbit, turtle and fox with umbrella, using the coordinating Playing In The Rain dies
- Using your Paper Snip scissors, cut out two puddles and one open umbrella also from the Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper
- On the 2 x 8-1/8 piece of Basic White cardstock adhere a puddle on the left then the Basic Black letters to spell out RAINY DAY and then with Stampin’ Dimensionals add the labels to spell out ‘fun’ on the right and the bunny above the puddle
- Cut out two stitched circles from Basic White cardstock using the Stylish Shapes dies and adhere them at both bottom corners of the Balmy Blue cardstock using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Add the turtle and umbrella to the circle on the left and the fox with his umbrella to the circle on the right adhering them all with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- On a scrap piece of Basic White stamp the clouds from the Playing In The Rain stamp set with Smoky Slate ink and die cut with coordinating dies
- Adhere the clouds above the rabbit with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- To complete the layout add a few of the Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots or other ‘bling’ that you may have
