Welcome to day one of the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose bundle feature week. This is such a beautiful bundle that can be found in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. The Cottage Rose stamp set and Cottage Flowers dies bundle is part of the larger Abigail Rose Suite Collection. With this pretty set you will be set to create gorgeous cards for your loved ones for all kinds of reasons! The card that I am sharing with you today is a clean and simple one that you could make up very quickly and with limited supplies too!

I will admit that simple cards are not my usual style but I couldn’t resist with this bundle. I am loving the size of the large Cottage Rose stamped image. Because of its size, making this pretty flower the focal point of today’s card was so easy and the card didn’t really need much more!
If you would like to know how I created today’s Cottage Rose card and recreate one of your own scroll down to the Let’s Make It section of today’s post. I have the step-by-step instructions there for you and at the end of the post there is a visual supply list too! All of the products I’ve used can be purchased through my online store and delivered to your door step!
Don’t forget the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue will be retiring on April 30th. Later this week the list of retiring products will be released too. I wonder if this bundle will be on the list or carrying on in to the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue?
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day and Happy Stamping!

Let’s Make It!
- Start with a Basic White Thick cardstock card base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
- Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, stamp the large rose image and two of the leaf branch images on to a piece of Basic White cardstock
- Using the Cottage Flowers dies cut out all three stamped images
- To get a nice soft, subtle look colour the images with Stampin’ Blends using only the light marker. You can still add some shading using just the light marker by repeatedly going over the spot that you want to shade
- I used Light Pale Papaya for the rose, light Soft Sea Foam for the leaves and light Fresh Freesia for the smaller flowers
- Adhere the two cut out leaves to the card front in the bottom left corner
- Adhere the die cut rose atop of the leaves using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- On a 1/2″ x 3 strip of Pale Papaya cardstock stamp the ‘Happy Birthday’ greeting using Early Espresso ink
- Flag both ends of the banner with the Banners Pick-A-Punch
- Adhere the banner to the cards using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- To complete the front add three of the Fresh Freesia 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds
- Remember to show some love to the inside of your Cottage Rose card too … see the photo below of how I chose to stamp the 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock for my card insert
