Today’s Cottage Rose card wraps up this week’s product feature. With the great floral images and fancy font sentiments the Cottage Rose stamp set is definitely one that you will want in your collection. As you may already know the Stampin’ Up! 22-23 Annual Catalogue will be retiring soon. Cottage Rose bundle along with many, many other fabulous products are now on the Last Chance product list. If you would like to take a peek at the list just click HERE to open up the PDF.

When I set out to design and create today’s card I wanted to highlight a few of the items listed on the Last Chance list along with one of my favourite retiring colours … Blushing Bride! Oh how I will miss this lovely pink. I also wanted to show a way to use the floral images in the Cottage Rose bundle in a way that doesn’t require them to be coloured.
To recreate the Feel Better Cottage Rose card yourself just scroll down to the Let’s Make It section of today’s post. I have the step-by-step instructions there for you and at the end of the post there is a visual supply list too! All of the products I’ve used can be purchased through my online store and delivered right to your door step anywhere in Canada!
Don’t forget the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue will be retiring on April 30th. The retiring list is available right now and can be viewed in list format HERE or visit my online store on April 4, 2023 to see the list in a visual format
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderfully creative weekend!

Let’s Make this pretty cottage rose card!
- Start with a Blushing Bride cardstock card base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
- Cut a 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper (ledger pattern) and distress the four edges using a sponge dauber and Blushing Bride ink
- Stamp three of the leaves from the Cottage Rose stamp set with Crumb Cake ink; two in the lower left and one in the upper right of the Abigail Rose DSP
- Adhere the Designer Series Paper to a 4 x 5-1/4 panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and then attach the layers to the front of your card base
- On a 1 x 3-1/2 strip of Blushing Bride cardstock stamp ‘feel better real soon’ sentiment using Early Espresso ink and then punch the left end with the Happy Labels Pick A Punch – Attach to the Designer Series Paper about 1″ up from the bottom and flush with the right edge
- Cut the three detailed delicate flowers out of the Blushing Bride Brushstroke Specialty Paper using the dies in the Cottage Flowers die set
- Using Crumb Cake ink, stamp three of the flower images on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut them out either using the coordinating section of the large die in the Cottage Flowers dies or fussy cut with your Paper Snip scissors
- With Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere the three stamped flowers in a cluster above the sentiment
- Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, attach the detailed flowers cut outs tucked in behind the larger stamped flowers
- Add four of the Blushing Bride Solid Faceted Gems to your card to add the finishing touch
- Remember to show some love to the inside of your Cottage Rose card too … see the photo below of how I chose to stamp the 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock for my card insert
