Let’s Make The lighting the way card!
- Start with a Night of Navy card base measuring 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
- Add a 4 x 5-1/4 panel of the starry patterned paper from the Enjoy The Journey Designer Series Paper (DSP) collection to the front of the card
- Adhere a 1-3/4 x 4 strip of Balmy Blue Country Gingham Designer Series Paper across the the card front about 1″ up from the bottom of the other DSP
- Cut the largest circle in the Stylish Shapes dies from Basic White cardstock and adhere over the gingham paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Die cut the lantern from the Lighting The Way dies using Basic Gray cardstock
- Add the lantern on to the die cut circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Using the Lighting The Way dies and a small piece of So Saffron cardstock, cut out the three fireflies and the center portion of the lantern
- Adhere the cut out So Saffron center parts into the Basic Gray lantern using Mini Stampin’ Dimensiionals
- Using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere the fireflies to the card front
- Cut a 3-1/2 x 3/8 strip of Basic White cardstock, flag the left end with the Banners Pick A Punch and stamp the sentiment on it using Night of Navy ink
- Adhere the banner in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Brush over the fireflies and the So Saffron part of the lantern with a Wink of Stella pen to add some glitter
- Finish off the card front by adding a few of the gold Festive Pearls below each of the fireflies
- Don’t forget to show a little love to the inside of your card too! See the photo below on how I stamped and decorated the 4 x 5-1/4 Basic White cardstock insert.
