It's A Science Sketch Challenge • Birdsnest Designs

Welcome to Make It Monday it’s time for this week’s creative challenge post. I have used this week’s sketch challenge to create a fun card using the It’s A Science Stampin’ Up! stamp set. This is a really great set filled with fun science themed images and science-pun sentiments. You can find it on page 80 of the Annual catalogue or HERE in my online store.

I kept the colour combination on this card fairly simple with a nice pop of the Lemon Lime Twist to add some fun! I love the whimsical look to the stamped microscope and how fun it is to colour with our Stampin’ Blends. I combined Pebbled Patch and Smoky Slate to colour the microscope on today’s card. You can see how I blended them together in the video tutorial below.

Here are the cardstock and Designer Series Paper measurements you’ll want to recreate this card.

Pebbled Path cardstock: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4, die cut ‘All That’ circle and 1-1/4 circle
Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock: 3-1/2 x 4-3/4
Basic White cardstock: 3-1/4 x 4-1/2, 4 x 5-1/4, 1-3/4 die cut circle, scrap for stamping
Stargazing Designer Series Paper: 2 x 3-1/4
