It’s time for a Festive Friday Challenge! This week’s Festive Friday Design Team’s challenge #FF0175 is National Winnie The Pooh Day! For my challenge card I picked out the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine Bundle …. I love these sweet bees and they fit perfectly with the theme.

What is the Festive Friday Challenge? Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo (Inspirations) List. The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Pick three of these items to create your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge National Winnie The Pooh Day is this week’s theme but guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about this theme at all! I hope you’ll join in on the fun and make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item for this week’s challenge!
Check out this link on how you can play along. If you want help entering, please email me at birdsnestdesigns@gmail.com and I’d be happy to help you!

A number of the items on this week’s Inspo List would have easily worked with the Bee My Valentine bundle that I chose. However I decided on yellow, red, bees and honey and I think that it turned out pretty darn cute!
What will you choose from this week’s Inspo List? Create a project and share it with us!

Let’s make this Bee My Valentine card
- Cut a Daffodil Delight card base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
- Fold the card base on the score line and adhere a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Floral Delight Designer Series Paper to the card front
- Die cut a heart from the Hearts of Elegance dies in Basic White and adhere it to the bottom half of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Cut a 1/2 x 3-3/4 strip of Real Red cardstock and stamp YOU’RE AS SWEET AS HONEY with Versamark ink
- Heat emboss the sentiment with white embossing powder and adhere across the bottom of the heart with a Stampin’ Dimensional on each end to keep it nice and level
- On Basic White cardstock stamp two bees using Daffodil Delight for the bodies, Tuxedo Black Memento for the stripes and face and Pool Party for the wings (for the solid wing image stamp off the ink first to get a lighter shade)
- Cut out the stamped images with the Bee Builder Punch
- Assemble the bees and adhere to the heart with Stampin’ Dimensional

- Cut a small Real Red heart with the Bee Builder punch and adhere above the top right of the bees
- Sprinkle five of the yellow Glossy Dots to the card front to complete
- For the inside of the card stamp a bee in the bottom right corner of a 4 x 5-1/4 Basic White piece and adhere inside the card
