Sweet & Simple With Toadstool Gardens DSP • Birdsnest Designs

I’m so excited to be teaming up with my friend Michelle Litwiller of Owl Star Stampers for a whole week of creative fun featuring amazing Sale-A-Bration products! It’s Day 2 and today I am sharing the gorgeous Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper.

The Toadstool Gardens 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is available for free with a $75 order here in Canada during Sale-A-Bration. Sale-A-Bration is Stampin’ Up!’s biggest promotion of the year and runs from January 7th through February 28th.

Today’s Toadstool Gardens card features a whimsical colour palette that’s both bright and cheerful. It showcases a vibrant mix of Early Espresso, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, Poppy Parade and Pumpkin Pie, perfectly complementing the playful theme.

For the focal point of today’s card I chose a 1-3/4″ Basic White circle. The three mushrooms layered on the circle have been fussy cut from the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper and adhered over top of leaves that were inked with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Marker. The cute little sentiment is from the Terrific Toadstools stamp set and compliments the simple design of the card.

In creating this card I also pulled in some Fresh Freesia Seam Binding Ribbon and Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins. Both are also Sale-A-Bration exclusive products that you can choose for free with a qualifying order. I love how well they coordinate with the colour palette of the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper.
