Happy Monday! I hope that you all had a fabulous weekend and a lovely day yesterday celebrating Mother’s Day. The weather here was a little on the gloomy/rainy side but all in all it was a great weekend! Today I am excited to share with you a Sending Smiles birthday card.
Sending Smiles is the stamp set that I chose to be featured in my Stamp of the Month Club for May. For today’s card I was so excited to be using one of the brand new 2022-2024 In Colours, Orchid Oasis. So much of the fun in adding these new colours to your collection is coming up with new colour combinations. For the Sending Smiles birthday card I combined Orchid Oasis, Polished Pink, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight. I am loving the way these four colours compliment one another … I’m sure you’ll be seeing this combo on future projects too.
Aside from the pretty floral images what I love about the Sending Smiles stamp set is that it has you covered for almost any occasion. Perfect if you want to send a little sunshine to brighten someone’s day, comfort and strength, a note of thanks or as in today’s card… birthday wishes! The use of the Sending Dies to create the Sending die cut with the two layers is game-changing! It creates such a striking feature on the card!
