Hello and welcome! Today I am sharing the projects that were created during my Make It Monday video last night. Using the Stampin’ Up! Your Day To Shine all inclusive kit I made three cards and a 12 x 12 scrapbook page. I started the video by creating one of each of the three cards that are included in the kit. This kit includes a total of 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs). I recreated the cards exactly as described in the instructions to show how lovely these kits really are. Here’s a look at the three cards.
The colours and the images are so pretty!
After I recreated these cards I went on to make a scrapbook layout using the contents of the kit. The “It’s Your Day To Shine” card inspired me to think of graduation and how perfect that sentiment would be for a title on a layout … and so the scrappin’ on the fly began.
I started by ‘speckling’ a 12 x 12 Basic White cardstock sheet with Berry Burst and Misty Moonlight ink using my Stampin’ Write Markers. I then created a spot for a 5 x 7 photo using Fresh Freesia and Basic White cardstock. Using the laser cut images from the kit I was able to create the gorgeous clusters of flowers and I cut apart one of the card bases to get the pink and white banners. One of the envelope flaps was also used to add some extra colour to the layout. Here is the finished project…
I am so happy with the way this page turned out. It has inspired me to think outside the box and use the contents of the Kits Collection to expand my crafting supplies and resources.
